Salute 2014 – The Crescent and the Cross

I think I missed a couple of displays and gaming boards set in the medieval era, but the one I did find turned out to be my highlight of Salute 2014.

Studio Tomahawk are about to release the new SAGA: The Crescent and the Cross and were on hand to showcase the expansion with figures by Gripping Beast on a stunning board depicting an assault on a fortified city.

    • Thanks, hope I did it justice. It was definitely too gloomy in the hall, difficult to take close up pictures without getting blurry, using my amateur equipment.

    • It seemed like styrofoam to me, but I’m not the expert you are! Didn’t think to ask unfortunately (or poke it while nobody was looking).

    • It might well be styrofoam looking at the pictures and thinking about it, the same structure in plaster would be extremely heavy. However, surely an impressive table no matter what material they used.
